Leap to Leaptel

Leaptel, an up-and-coming Internet Service Provider, approached Creativa to create a character-led animation advertisement that would promote their services to a broader audience. The goal was to highlight their 100% Aussie-based service with rock-solid reliability and lightning-fast speeds — all while making their charismatic frog mascot, Lenny, the star of the show.

Leaping onto the widescreen

A week after wrapping up the main deliverables, we got a surprise call: Leaptel had just secured ad spots for both Marvel Stadium and Allianz Stadium for the Wrexham vs Melbourne Victory games.

The brief being similar to the previous formats, just make it BIGGER and LONGER.

Scaling and adjusting our already existing animations to fit those massive stadium screens in multiple sized formats. Presenting a unique challenge, but an incredibly rewarding outcome. I’d never worked on a set of screens so large before, so delivering everything in under a week for the game meant being smart about efficiencies while still keeping all the charm, character and style of everyone’s favourite telco amphibian mascot, Lenny
